Lecturer in Biblical Studies position available – Broken Bay Institute
The Broken Bay Institute (BBI) is currently seeking to appoint a full-time Biblical Scholar to its dynamic team of academic staff.

The successful applicant will possess doctoral qualifications in Biblical Studies, demonstrated excellence in teaching, competency to teach in both face-to-face and online environments, and a commitment to ongoing research in the field. The initial contract will be for 12 months, with an option to renew.

Brisbane ANZATS Seminar March 6 Professor Dr Raymond Nobbs – DOING THEOLOGY DOWN UNDER – YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW
Dr Nobbs will present the findings and research into this topic from the Council of Deans of the theological colleges and emerging trends in theological education.
Raymond Nobbs has Master’s degrees in both Arts and Theology, while his PhD is in History. He has published 9 books and numerous journal articles, and is currently writing on the Lambeth Conferences. He is currently the conjoint Executive Officer of the Council of Deans of Theology (CDT), and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Theological Schools (ANZATS). He is also a Member of the Panel of Experts for the Commonwealth’s Tertiary Education Standards Quality Agency, and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Macquarie University where he taught for over 20 years. He was the foundation Dean and Professor at the Sydney College of Divinity, retiring from that position after 13 years’ service in December 2007. He has also served as President of ANZATS and Chair of the CDT.
