Bethsaida Archaeology Dig

Each year students from St Francis College participate in the Bethsaida archaeology excavations on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee. The program typically includes two weeks working as a volunteer on the dig and an extra week or two of travel to other parts of the Holy Land.

These opportunities are open to students from other colleegs and universities, to graduates of SFC, to clergy and other members of the Diocese of Brisbane, and to any interested members of the public.

Students may gain academic credit towards the Bachelor of Theology and to some other university courses through their participation in the Bethsaida Excavations Project, and may be eligible for financial assistance under the OS-HELP scheme.

Applications are now open for the 2014 Bethsaida Experience.
