CONFERENCE – ART OF FORGIVENESS
From 6th to 8th August 2015 Carey College (Baptist, New Zealand) will be holding a conference “The Art of Forgiveness”
The keynote speaker is Professor L Gregory Jones. Professor Jones is the Williams Professor of Theology and
Christian Ministry at Duke Divinity School.

Catholic Institute of Sydney – full-time lecturer in Systematic Theology position
The Catholic Institute of Sydney seeks to appoint a full-time lecturer in Systematic Theology.
The position will be available from the beginning of 2015. The successful applicant will be
teaching across the curriculum at undergraduate level and offering specialised units at
graduate level. He/she will also be expected to contribute to the research culture of CIS and

ANZATS Conference – 2015
The ANZATS Conference in 2015 will be held on 29th June to 1st July
at the Sydney College of Divinity Campus, Sydney
The conference theme is “A Life Worth Living: Religion and Ethics”.
The Keynote Speaker: Scott Stephens – Online Editor of Religion and Ethics for the ABC
The Conference Committee invites papers from practitioners from all the theological disciplines which reflect on these and related issues.The title of the proposed presentation at this conference, together with an abstract of 250-300 words should be submitted by February 15, 2015. B. Brandon Scott in Brisbane this week
Bernard Brandon Scott, has served for 23 years as the Darbeth Distinguished Professor of New Testament at the Phillips Theological Seminary, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He is the author and editor of many books, including Hear Then the Parable and The Trouble with Resurrection. A charter member of the Jesus Seminar, Brandon is chair of Westar’s newly established Christianity Seminar. He served as chair of the Bible in Ancient and Modern Media Section of the Society of Biblical Literature, as well as a member of several SBL Seminars including the Parable Seminar and Historical Jesus Seminar. He holds an A.B. from St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, an M.A. from Miami University, and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
