Daniel Block on July 28 & Michael Horton August 23 at QTC

July 28 Prof. Daniel Block

Prof. Daniel Block, of Wheaton College, will be teach an MA intensive on the book of Ezekiel at Queensland Theological College in July. He is best known as the author of the 2-volume NICOT on Ezekiel, but has also written commentaries on Judges, Ruth and Deuteronomy. Monday July 28 will be opened up to interested pastors and ministry workers for a day conference on Ezekiel.

August 23 Michael Horton

Michael Horton has taught apologetics and theology at Westminster Seminary California since 1998. He is a prolific author-theologian who has done more to put robust theology within reach of every Christian than almost anyone else in recent years. He is the author of The Christian Faith: A Systematic Theology for Pilgrims on the Way. He will be ‘Talking Theology’ at an event at QTC on Saturday August 23.

The Conference on Spiritual Formation hosted by the Australian College of Theology
in association with Christ College will be held on Thursday 2 – Friday 3 October, 2014

The Venue is Christ College 1 Clarence Street Burwood NSW 2134
The Keynote Speaker is Bp Peter Brain, author of Going the Distance: How to Stay Fit for a Lifetime of
Ministry (Matthias Media, 2001).

The Conference will help disseminate best practice and bring together the best minds
to bear on the challenges that go with the formation of students for ministry of all kinds.

Positive Psychology and Theology Conference at St Peter’s College, Adelaide 29-30 September 2014.

The Flourishing in Faith: Positive Psychology and Theology Conference at St Peter’s College, Adelaide in September 2014. This conference is a partnership between St Peter’s College and St Barnabas’ College, a member of the Charles Sturt University School of Theology.
The Keynote Speaker is Professor Ellen Charry from Princeton Theological Seminary in the USA whose work examines the moral, pedagogical and psychological effects of Christian beliefs and practices for human flourishing, drawing on classical Christian theology and contemporary work in psychology.
