The 2016 Australian and New Zealand Association of Theological Schools (ANZATS) Conference at Trinity College in Melbourne attracted over 130 educators from across Australia and New zealand and overseas.
Papers were presented by scholars in a range of themes, including New Testament, Old Testament, Patristics, Karl Barth, Church in Australia, Theological Education, ethics, economics, ecology, Ecumenical Formation, and Missions.
The conference’s keynote speaker Rev Dr Serene Jones spoke on the theme of ‘Atonement’ from traditional and recent perspectives. She also shared on her experiences as 16th President of’Union Theological Seminary in New York and forthcoming President of the American Academy of Religion.
