Dr Wendi Sargeant: ‘Apologetics and the Visual Arts’  In this paper I will argue for the use of the visual arts as a medium for apologetic exploration and expression.

Dr Dean Smith: ‘The Evangelical Church and Homosexual Practice’  The Evangelical Church is deeply divided in its response to the issue of homosexual practice. The debate is carried on as if progressives and conservatives really do share the same socially embodied paradigm with the same standards and methods of rational justification. If I am correct in my assessment of the incommensurability of progressive and conservative paradigms, indeed it is like a fault line running through all of western Christianity, then addressing this issue becomes a matter of urgency.
